Regarding the Tom Zirbel news.....Its interesting how people think that just cause a guy is serious about nutrition or the fact that he wont take a "cold adult beverage" means he must therefore automatically not be someone who takes something that will make him faster, illegal or not. Wake up people... Pro ( and most semi-pro for that matter ) cyclists are insane about what they put into their bodies. I find it very very hard to believe that Zirbel is completely guilt free in this matter. It is unfortunate that his deal with Garmin falls thru because of it, but think if you're the guy who stayed the hell away from most supplements so as to not even risk it and then finishes 2nd to Tom.

We are back from a long weekend of Thriftstore East Coast hoppin madness. Upon our return, it is confirmed, something we have long only suspected... That no matter how much carbon fiber you may have on your bike, some random-unlikely is gonna be more Rockstar than you with his bike....Here

The dust has barely settled after CX nationals and already someone is disowning cyclocross...
Here.
Should make for an interesting auction to watch. Price is too high though we say.....

It's a small world after all, especially if you have ever been to Interbike.... Jamie Jungers
,one of the newest Tiger-Woods-girls, a tramp\model from Vegas has had probably more exposure from her gigs at Interbike as "eye candy" than anything else in her career. This past year she was at the Reynolds booth, and in years past she has been at Niner and Cadillac Bikes. And cause bike nerds are usually suckers for taking pictures of things with cleavage at Interbike, that's where she was getting exposure...

Update from The Shack:
"Tens of thousands of customers have eagerly contributed to our point-of-sale collection for LIVESTRONG in just the first few weeks. As 100% of every $1 point-of-sale donation goes directly to LIVESTRONG, we believe it’s been tremendously successful so far. But RadioShack doesn’t intend for any customer to feel compelled to support the fight against cancer. It is a personal choice. We believe the directions are clear on the point-of-sale device, but we regret the few errors that apparently have occurred among the tens of thousands of contributions received so far. Customers who believe they’ve made the donation in error should simply contact us at customercare@radioshack.com or 1-800-THE-SHACK so that we can facilitate the refund process. And in the days ahead, we will use your feedback to remind our employees again about how to manage this process carefully and correctly.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.”
